NASCAR legend Richard "The King" Petty has weighed in on the on-track battle between Kyle Larson and Ryan Blaney at the World Wide Technology Raceway.

Petty, a seven-time Cup champion, shared his unique perspective on what he would have done if a rival had taken him out in a similar fashion.

The incident, which occurred in Stage 2, saw Larson's car slide up into Blaney's, causing the latter to spin out, a move Larson later called an "unintentional mistake."

But the Hall of Famer didn't stop there. Petty also gave his opinion on the red-hot rookie Connor Zilisch, currently leading the Xfinity Series standings.

Petty believes Zilisch's success is largely due to his fast car, a sentiment echoed by driver Denny Hamlin, who backed Justin Allgaier over Zilisch for the Xfinity Series title.

The rivalry between Zilisch and Allgaier is heating up as the two head to Bristol Motor Speedway for the first round of the playoffs.
